CHICKS WHO CLICK
Chicks who Click is a monthly fun, creative get-together of women who want to learn to take better photographs. It’s an intimate and interactive experience with Karen. Once a month we will meet for a field trip and participant’s tasks’ include: photographing, learning, having a fantastic time and feeling great about getting out with other friendly creative folk.
Karen’s tasks’ include: giving creative challenges, answering questions, getting you out with your camera, providing critiques, teaching about depth of field, shutter speed, exposure, light and composition.
The atmosphere is laid back, inspiring and exciting.
The next course will begin in February. If you would like to be on the contact list please drop me an email. Those on the contact list will have the opportunity to pre-register in December.
Morning Shoot
Due to VERY popular request our morning shoot will be at Goose Spit. We will meet at 6:30 - coffee in hand I will be there waiting for your at the very first parking area on the left. This location should be easy for everyone to get to early in the a.m.
On a total random note I am listening to Valerie Lopez and it is totally working me in to the day.
Chicks who Click morning get-together
Current and past chicks are invited to join me on a morning shoot Friday July 25th at 6:30 a.m.! Yes, you read that right 6:30 a.m. Return to the blog mid-next week for the exact location.

Chicks shoot shoes
For our last Chicks who Click class this session we did two seeing exercises. One was a photo walk, where we strolled until I shouted freeze and everyone had to look around and photograph from that spot. The other involved shoes! Last week of June
Howdy Chicks, wow, I am sure looking forward to getting out for our session next week. Can you believe it is our last session already? So, here is the lowdown, meet at the usual time -
Tuesday Group - Meet outside of Tarbells in Cumberland
Wednesday Group - Meet at the Artisans Courtenay (where the potters place is on 5th and Cliffe.)
Friday Group - Meet outside of Tarbells in Cumberland
What you need:
- the usual camera gear
- two shoes, two different shoes - these are in addition to the shoes you will be wearing on your feet.
Also, your one photograph - you had your choice of words, Power and Transition
woha - it is going to be fun!!
